These are some our bands this year...
Vintage Band is one of Maine most flexible groups you'll ever listen to. They feature 'Live Performance' vocals and a live horn accompanied by 1000s of songs; from R&B to Country, Jazz, Disco, Dinner Music and Music for Ballroom Dancing. Being a dance band, some just enjoys sitting and listen to our selections of different styles of music from era to era.
Bushwhack Band - just ask, they can play anything! The Band has been together and playing different venues in the Northeast United States as well as Atlantic Canada for over 26 years. Instrumentation: Key's, Drums, Guitar, Pedal Steel Guitar, Bass, Bushwhack serves up a Jambalaya of Golden Oldies, Rockabilly, Cajun, Zydeco, 50's to 70's Rock & Roll, Classic Country Western, Pop Standards and more... Music from Frank Sinatra and Tony Bennett to Hank Williams Sr. From Little Richard to Kenny Rogers and Engelbert Humperdinck.
NEW! The Kayla Wass Band is a 5 piece country music band. Twenty-two year-old Kayla is the lead singer with a voice compared to Trisha Yearwood and Carrie Underwood. She can sing the heck out of a Sugarland or Gretchen Wilson song or take you back a few years to the Tammy Wynette and Patsy Cline days. She sings from the heart with loads of emotion. She has won several awards including the 2007 Female Vocalist & Entertainer of the Year in Pigeon Forge, TN. The Kayla Wass Band brings you the sounds of today's country hits and timeless country classics!
NEW! COOS CAYNON It's simply 3 guys, 3 guitars, and a little help from today's technology. They can do anything... from an acoustic James Taylor ballad to a 70's Grand Funk rock tune.
With an amazing song list that represents the best music from the 60's, 70's, 80's, 90's into today, Coos Canyon surfaced in 2004 to bring back these songs; just like the record. Whether it's old time rock n roll, country, pop, disco, to folk, it's all here.
Songs like: Play that Funky Music, Brick House, Oh What A Night, Jump, Jive and Wail, Drift Away, Bye Bye Miss American Pie, Friends in Low Place and more!
It's a concert you will not soon forget, fun for the whole family (certainly the baby boomers!), and people will want to see again and again and again. How do they make it sound so much like the record? Come see for yourself!
