The Links at Poland Spring
Maine was the first golf
course built at a resort in America.
"For outdoor sports, golf is the universal game. Our links are
reputed... to be among the best in the country, and have the added attraction of
being at the very doors of the hotel." (Poland Spring, 1912)
Our original nine holes were designed by Arthur
Fenn in 1895. In 1912, Donald Ross of Pinehurst fame, added another
nine holes and redesigned the original nine.

winning awards from three major magazines in 2007, including Golf
Styles "100 Must Play Courses of New England" and Golf Digest "Best
Places to Play" for 2006/2007. Spectacular views of the White
Mountains, velvet bent grass greens, beautiful well maintained
fairways, ponds, and tees for all abilities.

Please Note: Please check in at Pro Shop 20 minutes before your tee time. If
you must cancel, please call the Pro Shop a minimum of 24 hours in advance to
avoid a cancellation fee. No alcoholic beverages or coolers allowed to be
brought on golf course. Our snack cart with fresh sandwiches, soda, and beer
available on most days.
